Katarzyna Wijas is an assistant at the Department of Sanitary Networks and Installations at the Kielce University of Technology. She is also a PhD student in the discipline of Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Environmental, Geomatic and Energy Engineering at the Kielce University of Technology. On July 4, 2018, she opened her doctoral dissertation presenting the goals, assumptions, theses and preliminary results of research on the risk of failure of sewer lines, carried out under the supervision of prof. Emilia Kuliczkowska's. She is the co-author of 6 publications mainly concerning the assessment of the technical condition of sewer pipes, but also methods of their renovation and construction. She is also the author of two articles from the series Trenchless Technologies on Six Continents created in cooperation with the Polish Trenchless Techniques Foundation.
